Editorial Policy

1. How we choose topics
We cover questions real buyers ask about home office and desk accessories: how to choose, how options compare, and how to set things up correctly. We prioritize evergreen topics with lasting value over trends, and we avoid manufacturing demand for products readers do not need.
2. How we verify specifications
Technical details — dimensions, weight capacities, VESA patterns, power-delivery wattages, display support — are checked against manufacturer documentation and official specification pages. Where a specification cannot be verified, we say what readers should check themselves instead of filling the gap with guesses.
3. Sources we rely on
Our primary sources are manufacturer manuals and specification sheets, standards bodies (such as USB-IF for USB specifications), and authoritative public references such as ergonomics guidance from occupational-safety authorities. External links in our articles point to these sources so readers can verify claims directly.
4. Research-based guides vs. hands-on testing
Our guides are research-based unless an article explicitly states otherwise. We do not claim to have tested, measured, or used specific products unless we describe the methodology and conditions. General buying advice and editorial analysis are presented as such — distinct from verified manufacturer specifications.
5. Corrections and updates
When an error is reported or discovered, we correct the article and add an updated date where the change is material. When specifications change (for example, a manufacturer revises a product line), we update the affected guidance. Readers can report errors via our contact page.
6. Editorial independence and affiliate commissions
Buying criteria and comparisons are written to serve readers, not merchants. If affiliate relationships are established in the future, commissions will never determine which options we cover or how we assess them, and any affiliate link will be clearly disclosed close to the recommendation, consistent with the FTC's Endorsement Guides. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the current program status.
7. What we will not publish
- Invented test results, prices, specifications, or quotations.
- Review scores without a stated methodology and evidence.
- Copied or lightly rewritten merchant descriptions.
- Unsupported health, safety, or performance claims.
- Fabricated author identities or credentials.
